The traverse is designed to be mounted directly on the outside of a wind tunnel structure. The system is a 2D traverse with one axis for moving in horizontal direction and one Gantry axis for moving in vertical direction.
It is designed to achieve a high straightness on the X-rail, which is crucial to keep the light sheet in a well defined position.
The system is delivered with a cabinet for the control electronics and a software package for controlling and monitoring the system.
